Glitch effects[]
An invalid password message in The Sims 3 70s, 80s, & 90s Stuff.
This glitch is caused when trying to log on The Sims 3. The Sims 3 will give an invalid email/password! dialog (as seen on the right) saying the email address or password is invalid even though it's not. However, if the player tries to log to EA or Origin using the same email and password, it will work correctly.
In addition, affected users also saw that the Welcome page on the Launcher was blank.

Glitch example[]
You have an EA account and a profile in The Sims 3. You attempt to log on The Sims 3 using your email and password which returns you an Invalid email/password! dialog. However, you log on to ea.com using the same email and password and you could log on correctly.
